The EliteElite. We all know that this translates to 'don't mess'. The Elite are the self-proclaimed rulers of the school, and everybody else has taken to calling them that as well. In order to get into this exclusive circle, you must be the richest, the most connected, and the least merciful. Anyone who's ever crossed paths with one of the elite knows that they take no prisoners. They are the hottest guys and the sexiest girls- and they know it, and they aren't afraid to take advantage of it. They're what everybody aims for, and what very, very few people get. Chances are that these people can ruin your entire high school career if you really piss them off, so I'd be careful where I stepped if I were you.
The JealousWe all have a little bit of envy inside of us at all times, but The Jealous have redefined it. Also known as 'The Wannabes', these are the people who are willing to do whatever it takes to climb the social ladder. Being reeled into this clique brings out the worst in all of us- the most loyal friends betray the people they care about most for the sake of popularity, the most honest little boy will lie and cheat and steal to get what they want, and what they want is to be Elite.
The DramaticThe players, the whores, the bitches and the assholes find themselves in this group. The Dramatic are the people that always seem to be the center of attention, whether they want to or not. Their boldness, daringness and willingness to do the most insane things in the world, often makes them the subject of most conversation. Unfortunately, in high school, most conversation consists of gossip. The worst part is that the people in this clique are the muse for the highest percentage of gossip that isn't total bullshit. But somehow they live with it- some even feed off of it. Haters make us famous, after all.
The RebelliousWho needs rules? The Rebellious don't, that's for sure. People in this clique are the most likely to spit in the faces of those Elite bitches who think they can control everybody else just because they have some money in their pocket and a loud voice. Just what gives them the right to assume they're better than everybody else? Nothing, of course. A common trait among this clique is a blatant disregard and disrespect for rules, status and limitations, as well as the people who take it upon themselves to enforce them. Because of their indifference towards labels and status quo, The Rebellious often interact with members of any clique at all, not allowing themselves to be defined by which group they fit into.
The EmotionalEmo. Scene. Punk. Skater. However you want to say it, The Emotional are it. Everyone who hates the world or hates themself, loves their skateboard more than their friends, listens to heavy metal and has black fingernails and fifty piercings, or has an affinity for skinny jeans and zip-up hoodies, belongs in this group. But on a more broad level, these are the people who just don't care. The people you meet in high school aren't important, so The Emotional just want to get the hell out of this dump as soon as they possibly can.
The KindWhether they're adored for their ability to forgive and forget, or resented for their unrealistic optimism, The Kind are the people who are just nice to everyone. Often prone to bullying and being taken advantage of, these people tend to see the good in everyone, even where it doesn't apply, and treat everyone with respect, even if they don't deserve it. Maybe it's just because people are jealous of their sweetness, and the fact that they just always seem to be smiling, that they somehow end up with just as many enemies as anybody else.
The BrilliantMaybe you call them nerds, but here at EDPA, we're very proud of the more intelligent portion of our population. But what is there to say about the people who think that a B is a bad grade? Well, needless to say, they have a bright future ahead of them, and a little bit of social awkwardness is a fair enough trade-off for inevitably greater success than that of their classmates.
The HumourousThe clowns, the jesters, the pranksters- whatever you feel like calling them, they're the people who will find a joke in everything. Even things that some people think that there should not be any jokes in. Some people find them annoying because they're constantly trying to brighten the mood, and sometimes people just have to be sad for a while. It's not their fault, though. All they want is for everybody to be happy, and to get a good laugh. A little joke every once in a while never hurt anybody, did it?
The AthleticWell, we all know a jock when we see one, don't we? Always carrying a football, or spinning a basketball around on their finger. Always having to cancel plans because they have soccer practice that night. Often putting their sports and extra-curricular activities before their friends, some people are not particularly fond of The Athletic- especially since they tend to be cocky. They aren't all like that, of course, but when you kick ass at something, and you know you kick ass at something...
